Happy Monday☀ Today I am sharing my initial picks from Sephora's Beauty Insider Appreciation Event! The event started on Friday, August 24th and goes until Monday, September 3rd (9/3).

This is a great time to stock up on your favorites as you're receiving a percentage off! I use this event (sale) to stock up on my everyday items for beauty & skincare. It's also a good time to pick up something you've been looking at or wanting to try. You might even want to stop by, browse around, ask for a sample, try it out for a week then decide if that is what you are looking for.

I've been following blogger Marianna Hewitt for a few years now and couldn't wait to try her product. However, each time I went to Sephora Ala Moana it was always sold out. Finally, I found it in stock at Sephora Pearl Ridge. Can't wait to try this!!

While browsing around the store, I noticed Miranda Kerr's line and started to test some of her products. I picked this item for preventative measures to soften fine lines and crow's feet.

While looking at K Beauty products online, I found this item and was intrigued by the description. This is a morning mask (most masks I see are nighttime), lifting treatment, super primer - an all in one, how fun!

I saw this on Glow Recipe's insta (@glowrecipe) and thought how cute are these little pearls! To me, the pearls are very innovative and user friendly as you only need 1 pearl each use.

hello ... NEWS - dior bb cream discontinued?!

**This was supposed to be posted on 2/16/19** While at a beauty counter today I inquired about different foundations/bb cream just to see if I might want to try something new. I showed the beauty stylist what I currently use (Dior Hydra Life BB Cream (what I wear daily to work), Dior Forever, Benefit, and Mac). The beauty stylist informed me that they heard the Dior Hydra Life BB Cream has been discontinued ... My was that news to me!! As I was typing my "hello 2019" post, I began searching online to see if what they told me was accurate or not bc I went to a local Sephora the other day and saw a bunch in person. After my online search, I think the beauty stylist was right as I cannot find the BB cream online!! So I called all the Sephora stores on Oahu - 2 are sold out of my shade, and 2 have a limited amount in stock. Of course I put them all on hold (lol)! I'm on the hunt for new BB Cream. Can you believe it's the middle of September?! Crazy!! I think the weather should be changing soon in the mainland...how exciting 🍂 If I lived in a state that had Fall, here are some Fall finds (under $50) that I'd buy.
